I’m a textile and surface designer with a lifelong love of color, pattern, art, and the things that make a space or a garment feel special.

I earned my BFA in Fine Arts and Textile/Surface Design from The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and over the past 20+ years I’ve had the opportunity to work across both home furnishings and fashion. My career has taken me through many different sides of the design process, from developing original artwork and prints to creating production-ready CADs and collaborating with manufacturers, vendors, and creative teams.

For more than a decade, I owned and operated hunt+gather studio, a print design studio represented in NYC, LA, London and Australia that sold original artwork to clients in the fashion and home industries as well as providing design services. We were featured in WGSN more than once, Fashion Snoops, and a few other industry publications. Running the studio taught me not only how to design better, but how to manage projects, solve problems, communicate ideas, and bring creative work from concept to finished product. I also had the opportunity to oversee a large network of international artists and creatives.

I’ve always loved exploring different forms of creative expression. At one point, that meant creating Roxie Rudolph, a small print based clothing line that allowed me to take my love of textile design one step further and develop an entire collection around it. It was sold in boutiques, yoga studios and was featured in a few magazines as well an entire runway show for a charity.

Today, I’m a Senior CAD Designer at J McLaughlin, where I continue to work in the fashion industry and bring years of experience in print, color, and production to my work.

Outside of my professional design life, I’m usually making something or hanging out with my dog. I love oil painting, especially portraits, and working with charcoal and pastel. I’m drawn to the imperfections and character of vintage objects, with a particular soft spot for mid-century modern furniture and interiors and historic homes.

I’m equally inspired by the energy of a city, the quiet of the mountains, and the openness of the beach. I think that contrast finds its way into my work: a little nostalgic, a little modern, always curious, and very much inspired by the world around me.
